In March 2025, Neartú Global commenced its first activity, supporting the Women's Initiative for Startups and Entrepreneurship (WISE) to conduct a Vietnam Women's Entrepreneurship Mapping.

Today, Vietnam boasts one of the highest female labor force participation rates in Southeast Asia, with over 73 percent of women actively engaged in the workforce. However, women entrepreneurs face systemic barriers that limit their success. Cultural norms tie them to caregiving, restricting business opportunities, while biases undermine their leadership, especially in tech. Financial hurdles—strict collateral demands and investor bias—make funding scarce. Limited digital access, particularly in rural areas, widens the gap. Without mentorship or strong networks, growth stalls. Policies rarely address gender-specific needs, and breaking into major supply chains or global markets remains an uphill battle.

The report will showcase the power of women’s entrepreneurship in driving economic growth and gender equality. It will reveal key players in the ecosystem, fostering collaboration among governments, financial institutions, and support networks. By pinpointing gaps and opportunities, it will help stakeholders direct resources where they matter most, strengthening support for women entrepreneurs and unlocking untapped potential.
